Textiloma: cuerpo extraño en cavidad abdominal

Abstract

Se presentó el caso de un paciente masculino, de 36 años, en el servicio de cirugía general del Hospital Militar Clínico Quirúrgico Docente. Dr. Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja de Camagüey. Ingresó con diagnóstico presuntivo de bridas intraperitoneales, crisis y suboclusión. Los complementarios realizados no resultaron concluyentes, se realizó cirugía video laparoscópica y se detectó un tumor retroperitoneal de aproximadamente 20 cm de diámetro y gran cantidad de bridas posquirúrgicas. Se resecó el tumor y unos 40 cm del intestino delgado. El estudio anatomopatológica realizado arrojó la presencia de un textiloma.
