Luxofractura de Galeazzi: presentación de un caso

Abstract

RESUMEN

Introducción: la luxofractura de Galeazzi es una enfermedad poco frecuente de tipo traumática caracterizada por fractura diafisiaria del radio y disyunción de la articulación radio cubital distal.
Caso clínico: paciente de 41 años de edad, blanco, masculino que sufrió accidente del tránsito y fue ingresado en el servicio de Ortopedia y Traumatología del Hospital Universitario Manuel Ascunce Domenech de Camagüey con el diagnóstico de luxofractura de Galeazzi. Dos días después del ingreso fue intervenido quirúrgicamente, se le colocó lámina AO de compresión dinámica de cinco perforaciones para la fractura del radio y alambre de Kirschner para estabilizar la articulación radio cubital distal.
Conclusiones: la presencia de luxofractura de Galeazzi es poco frecuente, especialmente en aquellos pacientes que necesitan fijación de la articulación radio cubital distal, una vez de realizada la fijación del radio.
