Estudio fitoquímico preliminar de Merremia Umbellata
Abstract
En el trabajo se brindan los resultados de una encuesta aplicada a una muestra de una población consumidora de semillas de Merremia umbellata del reparto El Porvenir de la ciudad de Camagüey. Por primera vez se reporta un estudio fitoquímico realizado en nuestro país a la especie Merremia umbellata consultándose la presencia de un grupo de metabolitos de importancia (alcaloides, taninos y/o fenoles, triterpenos y esteroides, grupos aminos y principios amargos), de los cuales se trató infructuosamente de extraer los alcaloides que pudieran ser ergolínicos. Se logró aislar una resina y se sentaron las bases para la identificación de su principio activo; que pudiera ser la Jalapina.Downloads
