Cistoadenoma microquistico del pancreas. A propósito de un nuevo caso

Abstract

Se presenta un caso de cistoadenoma de páncreas (microquístico) en una mujer de 44 años, con antecedentes de Diabetes Mellitus, y de colicistectomía hace 5 años. De esta entidad hay menos de 300 casos publicados en la literatura, siendo el primero encontrado en nuestro hospital en los últimos veinte años. El caso que se presenta es de localización caudal y fue tratado por pancreotectomía caudal más esplenectomía. Se señala la poca importancia de la clínica en el diagnóstico de estos tumores y el valor de la ultrasonografía, la TAC y la resonancia magnética en la detección de los mismos.
