Consentimiento informado en la práctica médica

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio transversal, analítico, descriptivo en Bioética sobre el cumplimiento del consentimiento informado en el Servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Provincial Docente Amalia Simoni de la ciudad de Camagüey, con el objetivo de conocer qué información desean recibir los pacientes y cómo influye la falta de ésta en las quejas por insatisfacción, en cuanto a los servicios de salud. Se concluyó que la información que se debe suministrar debe ser clara, veraz y completa, y responder sólo a lo que en realidad el médico se ha dado cuenta, a través de una relación médico - paciente adecuada, que este último quiere conocer. Se observó que el 100% de las quejas por insatisfacción de debieron al mal uso del consentimiento informado por parte del médico a los pacientes o familiares.
