Comportamiento de la sepsis generalizada en el quemado con la práctica de la exanguinotransfusión

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio acerca del comportamiento de la sepsis generalizada en el paciente quemado con la práctica de la exanguinotransfusión (EXTF), para lo cual se aplicó el proceder a 47 pacientes que ingresaron con quemaduras clasificadas como Muy graves, Críticas y Críticas extremo, según Clasificación Cubana de Pronóstico, en la sala de Caumatología de Hospital Provincial Clínico Quirúrgico Manuel Ascunce Domenech de la ciudad de Camagüey en un período de dos años. Se observó una modificación del cuadro séptico en el 50 % de los pacientes aquejados por sepsis generalizada. Los resultados obtenidos se comparan con lo planteado en la literatura médica disponible.
