Tratamiento del síndrome de clase II con el regulador de función de Fränkel

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo en 15 niños con síndrome de clase II tratados con los reguladores de función Fränkel en las edades comprendidas entre siete y nueve años, que ingresaron en el servicio de Ortodoncia de la Clínica Estomatológica Docente La Vigía, desde Julio de 1987 a Julio de 1988, con el objetivo de evaluar los cambios oclusales desde el inicio de los tratamientos al alta. Se midieron y compararon modelos de estudio iniciales y finales, se pudo comprobar cambios estadísticamente significativos en el resalte y en la distancia intermolar.
