Homoinjerto de piel en quemaduras dermohipodérmicas

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio a 44 pacientes ingresados en la Sala de Caumatología del Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech, cuyo diagnóstico inicial fue de quemaduras dermohipodérmicas o hipodérmicas puras, que por su evolución final fueron tributarias de injerto de piel. Los pacientes homoinjertados de donantes familiares (hermanos generalmente) con pruebas cruzadas negativas y similitud de grupo sanguíneo y RH formaron el grupo estudio, mientras que los pacientes homoinjertados de donantes con similitud de grupo sanguíneo y RH y pruebas cruzadas positivas; piel obtenida de residual postquirúrgico de intervenciones de cirugía estética constituyeron el grupo control. Se valoró la supervivencia del homoinjerto a los 7, 14, 21, 30, 60 y 90 días postquirúrgicos. Los datos obtenidos fueron procesados en una Microcomputadora IBM compatible por el paquete estadístico Microstat. Se evidenció mayor durabilidad en el prendimiento de los homoinjertos en el grupo con pruebas cruzadas negativas, teniendo una vida media de 40, 54 a 55 días.
