Evaluación de los resultados en la microcirugía de la catarata mediante un programa automatizado

Abstract

Los resultados de la microcirugía de la catarata con o sin implante de L.I.O. en 170 ojos, han sido evaluados mediante un programa automatizado que nos ha permitido analizar las diferentes variables que influyen en esta cirugía de forma individual y colectiva. Se obtuvieron buenos resultados en el astigmatismo residual y aniseiconia en los ojos seudofáquicos con 1.46 dioptrías y de 2.6%, respectivamente.La vía quirúrgica de acceso más utilizada fue la vía límbica y la sutura mayormente empleada fue el nylon 10 cero a puntos continuos; obteniéndose con ellas los menores valores de astigmatismo residual promedio, tanto para el grupo de los pseudofáquicos como para el de los afáquicos sin LIO.
