Pericarditis fibrinohemorrágica más hemotórax por trauma. Presentación de un caso

Abstract

Se presentó el caso de un paciente ingresado en el Servicio de Cirugía General del Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech de Camagüey por herida de arma blanca penetrante en hemitórax izquierdo alejado del área cardíaca y con el diagnóstico de hemotórax izquierdo de pequeña cuantía, el paciente en los días sucesivos a su ingreso comenzó con derrame pericárdico el cual fue diagnosticado clínico, radiológico ultrasonográfico y mediante electrocardiograma (EKG). Inicialmente el derrame fue tratado con antinflamatorios y por último fue necesario el tratamiento quirúrgico que consistió en pericardiotomía con pericardiectomía parcial, biopsia, toallet, aspiración de 1 200 cc de sangre, y toracostomía por sonda para drenaje de la cavidad. Se ofrece un análisis de las características clínicas de la pericarditis fibrinosa traumática en relación con el caso y en comparación con lo reportado en la literatura consultada.
