Predicción de vía aérea difícil
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio prospectivo para evaluar la vía aérea en pacientes sometidos a anestesia general orotraqueal, Hospital Provincial Clínico Quirúrgico “Manuel Ascunce Domenech” de Camagüey, en un período de seis meses. La muestra estuvo constitutida por 100 pacientes. Se determinaron el Test de Mallampati, el espacio mandibular y la movilidad del cuello a fin de delimitar la posibilidad de vía aérea difícil, relacionándolos con la laringoscopia. Se observó que un 10% de los pacientes estudiados presentaron alteraciones en todos los test aplicados, Lo que demostró una sensibilidad del 100% para prever intubación difícil. La distancia mentotiroidea mayor de 6 cm, distancia mentoesternal mayor de 12 cm y el largo horizontal de la mandíbula mayor o igual a 9 cm, se relacionaron con una vía aérea fácil de manejar, el test de Mallampati aislado demostró falsos positivos.Downloads
