Condromalacia de rótula. Incidencia de algunos aspectos clínicos, terapéuticos y epidemiológicos
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio explicativo en un número de trece pacientes diagnosticados y tratados por condromalacia de rótula mediante artroscopia en el Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech de nuestra ciudad. Se encontró una mayor incidencia en el sexo femenino con un 61, 5 %. El grupo de edades con mayor afección fue el de más de 45 años para un 38, 4 %. Predominó la condromalacia grado II en el 46, 1 %. Las lesiones de menisco fueron las afecciones asociadas más frecuentes en un 38, 4 %. El índice de complicaciones en este proceder es muy bajo con solo un 15, 3 %.Downloads
