Fractura de la cúpula radial. Estudio de un año

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio transversal, observacional y descriptivo en 31 pacientes diagnosticados y tratados por fractura de la cúpula radial atendidos en un grupo básico de trabajo perteneciente al Hospital Provincial Manuel Ascunce Domenech en el año 1997. Se encontró una mayor incidencia en el sexo femenino 62 %. Predominó la fractura tipo II según la clasificación de Mason en un 36 % de los pacientes. El codo izquierdo fue el más lesionado en un 62 %. La forma de tratamiento se comportó según el tipo de fractura y sus criterios quirúrgicos. Un 16 % presentó complicaciones. Los resultados fueron excelentes en un 64 %, buenos en el 32 % y regulares en el 4 % según la escala de An y Morrey.
