Mesotelioma primario del peritoneo como causa de fiebre de origen desconocido
Abstract
Se presenta una paciente de 40 años con un mesotelioma primario de peritoneo que comenzó con un síndrome febril de origen desconocido (FOD). Se comenta la relación de este tumor con el asbesto, historia familiar y su riesgo de sufrir cáncer, sobre todo del tubo digestivo. Se destacan los síntomas habituales, el diagnóstico y el estudio anatomopatológico. Se señalan las metástasis principales y la terapéutica de este tumor. Concluimos que este caso es el primero presentado en nuestro país como un síndrome febril de origen desconocido.Downloads
