Rabdomiosarcoma. A propósito de un caso

Abstract

Se presentó un caso con el diagnóstico histológico de rabdomiosarcoma en una paciente femenina de 68 años de edad, blanca, con antecedentes de salud anterior, la cual en un período de tres meses comenzó con dolor e inflamación a nivel del muslo izquierdo, necesitó tratamiento quirúrgico. El objetivo de este trabajo es actualizar el tema mediante este caso con diagnóstico histológico no muy común. Su importancia radica en que el mismo, aunque raro, en ocasiones se presenta en pacientes de la sexta década de la vida como masas de crecimiento lento al igual que otros tipos de tumores.
