Evaluación del control de calidad externo provincial en el nivel secundario

Abstract

A través de un estudio descriptivo se evaluó la calidad de los resultados investigativos del Laboratorio Clínico en el año 1997, por medio de la adaptación del Programa Provincial de Evaluación Externa del nivel primario al secundario. Mensualmente se prepararon los controladores para ambos niveles de atención, según el procedimiento descrito en dicho programa (un frasco de suero control, un frasco con solución de Cianometahemoglobina, un frasco de solución de absorbancia y calibramiento, uno con hemolisado y una lámina con extensión sanguínea). Los resultados fueron procesados y evaluados a partir del programa computarizado SECAL. El criterio de calidad se estableció según los intervalos de IV o PIV. Los resultados indican que la calidad anual de las determinaciones diagnósticas fue de aceptable (163). El año 1997 superó en calidad a 1996 aunque se mantuvo en el mismo rango de evaluación (p= 0, 1758 ) y se demostró que entre ambos niveles de atención la calidad se comportó de igual manera (p = 0, 3861).
