Abstract

La salud del trabajador ocupa cada día un lugar más importante en la vida moderna, es por ello que el mayor nivel de información que se tenga sobre los riesgos a que todo el personal está expuesto, contribuirá de manera especial a la promoción y prevención de salud sobre las enfermedades y garantizar una mejor calidad de vida. Se realizó una amplia revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de hacer una clasificación didáctica de todos los riesgos a que está sometido el personal de estomatología; al tiempo que se profundizó en los elementos que involucra cada uno de ellos, así como las medidas de prevención y protección que se tuvieron en cuenta. Se concluyó que los riesgos biológicos, ergonómicos y físicos son los que más afectan al estomatólogo.
