Abstract

Se presentaron dos casos con plunging ránula en pacientes jóvenes, masculinos y blancos. Este tipo de enfermedad es bastante rara, ya que su origen es expensa de las glándulas salivares en especial de la glándula sublingual. Señalamos las características clínicas, medio de diagnóstico y tratamiento de esta enfermedad, el cual siempre es quirúrgico, pero de diferentes formas, todo ello debido a que no existe uniformidad en su patogénesis.
