Transplante renal y prótesis vascular. Presentación de un caso

Abstract

Se describe un paciente con de insuficiencia renal crónica terminal no filiada en régimen dialítico tres veces por semana durante dos años en el servicio de Nefrología del Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech de Camagüey. Recibió un segundo trasplante renal, siete meses después de haberle realizado aneurismectomía, por técnica de Crawford y by pass aortoilíaco por presentar aneurisma aortoilíaco. En septiembre de 2002 se realizó el trasplante renal donante cadáver en la rama izquierda de la ilíaca externa sobre la prótesis vascular, mediante anastomosis término lateral, es el primer caso en nuestra provincia que se le realiza trasplante renal sobre una prótesis vascular en una casuística de 365 trasplantes. Tuvo un síndrome de lenta recuperación del injerto y una infección del tracto urinario con recuperación total y creatinina de 88.4 mmol/l al alta. Ha sido seguido durante doce meses y mantiene igual función.
