Monitorización de lípidos séricos en niños diabéticos tipo I según control metabólico
Abstract
El control metabólico de la diabetes mellitus tipo I no depende exclusivamente de la terapia insulínica, la regulación dietética juega un papel muy importante en estos enfermos y un buen control, a su vez se organiza un mayor período de vida sin complicaciones. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de los niveles séricos de lípidos (colesterol, triglicéridos, LDL y HDL colesterol) por método enzimático, en 51 niños diabéticos tipo I del Hospital Pediátrico Provincial Docente Dr. Eduardo Agramonte Piña, en el mes de marzo de 2002 relacionado con el control metabólico. Se pudo demostrar que a mayor descontrol, mayor positividad de estas variables, todos los niños diabéticos con alteraciones lipídicas (n=10) coincidieron con niños con mal control metabólico.Downloads
