Valoración artroscópica en el síndrome doloroso anterior de rodilla en el niño

Abstract

Se presentaron 13 pacientes con 15 rodillas operadas con el diagnóstico de Síndrome Doloroso Anterior de la Rodilla de causa intra–articular, tratados por artroscopía en el Hospital Pediátrico Provincial Eduardo Agramonte Piña de la Ciudad de Camagüey. El promedio de edades fue de 13, 6 años, predominó el sexo femenino en 14 de 15. El dolor se presentó en el 100 % de los casos, la inestabilidad se encontró en tres de 15 y la inflamación en ocho de 15. El signo más encontrado fue el de Insall, en 14 de 15. Se encontró condromalacia de rótula en 11 de 15 y plica sinovial en 10 de 15. La mala– alineación patelofemoral fue la causa más frecuente en cinco de 15, para un 33, 3 %. Predominó el resultado de excelente en 13, para un 86, 6 %.
