Transplante renal y mamoplastia. Presentación de un caso

Abstract

Se describe una paciente receptora de un trasplante renal donante vivo hace once años, actualmente con normofunción renal y que al momento de ser transplantada tenía mamas normales, en el servicio de nefrología del Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech de Camagüey. En mayo del 2000 se le practicó mamoplastia por indicación médica, no estética, por presentar gigantomastia bilateral secundaria provocada por la administración continuada de la terapia inmunosupresora que recibió posterior al transplante renal. Se suspendió la Ciclosporina un año posterior al transplante. Es el primer caso de trasplante renal en la provincia que se le practica mamoplastia, con evolución satisfactoria y curación total del acto quirúrgico, sin secuelas, con función renal normal alta y fue evaluada por dos años sin complicaciones aparentes.
