Alteraciones psicológicas del paciente portador de catarata senil bilateral
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo a 50 pacientes portadores de catarata senil bilateral, que fueron sometidos a tratamiento quirúrgico bajo los efectos de analgesia quirúrgica acupuntural, desde enero a junio de 2003. Se realizó la prueba de escala de ansiedad Ipat, la HTP, el Test de Rotter y Zung y una entrevista psiquiátrica individual. Los pacientes estudiados se caracterizaron por ser inseguros, pesimistas, con pobre control de los impulsos, emotivos y con elevado nivel de ansiedad. El perfil psicopatológico destacó los síntomas de ansiedad, tristeza, insomnio, astenia e irritabilidad. Dentro de las enfermedades mentales predominó la depresión neurótica y el trastorno de ansiedad.Downloads
