Sarcoidosis de la glándula lagrimal. Reporte de un caso

Abstract

Se presenta el caso de un paciente con una tumoración en el ángulo supero extremo de la órbita, que recibió múltiples tratamientos, fue interpretada inicialmente como una reacción alérgica local y no respondió a la terapéutica habitual. Se arribó al diagnóstico de una sarcoidosis de glándula lagrimal, que en esta paciente, a pesar de tratarse de una enfermedad sistémica, sólo afectó la glándula, por lo que éste debe ser un planteamiento en todo paciente con una tumoración en la fosa lagrimal. Se reportó por lo infrecuente de esta localización dentro de la esfera oftalmológica.
