Evaluación de la eficacia del lásermed 670–dl en el tratamiento de las alveolitis

Abstract

Con el objetivo de evaluar la eficacia del láser en el tratamiento de la alveolitis se realizó un ensayo clínico fase II temprana, abierto en la Clínica Estomatológica Provincial Docente de Camagüey Ismael Clark y Mascaró, desde diciembre de 2003 hasta octubre de 2004, con una muestra de 30 pacientes afectados por esta enfermedad. La alveolitis se presentó con mayor frecuencia en el sexo femenino en los mayores de 35 años, los alveolos más afectados fueron los de la zona de molares, fueron necesarias tres sesiones de tratamiento para la eliminación de la sintomatología álgica y se demostró la eficacia de la terapia láser como técnica indolora e inocua para el paciente que requiere de poco tiempo para lograr resultados favorables.
