Presión de perfusión intraabdominal. Nuevo coeficiente predictivo en cirugía

Abstract

La presión intraabdominal es un parámetro más en el manejo de pacientes quirúrgicos graves y complejos. Se utiliza por los cirujanos que atienden urgencias desde la década de los 80. El diagnóstico de complicaciones intraabdominales postoperatorias mediante esta técnica ha cobrado seguidores en los terapistas por su elevada sensibilidad y especificidad. El síndrome compartimental abdominal ya no constituye un eslabón infranqueable y su morbimortalidad ha disminuido considerablemente con el uso de este proceder. La medición de la perfusión intraabdominal mediante un coeficiente matemático abre un camino más selectivo aún en estos enfermos. El objetivo de esta revisión es abundar en las posibilidades y realidades de este novedoso procedimiento.
