Diagnóstico hemodinámico de la ruptura del septum interventricular. Reporte de un caso

Abstract

Se presenta a un paciente de 55 años que sufrió un infarto agudo del miocardio de cara inferior con extensión a ventrículo derecho Killip–Kimball IV con una comunicación interventricular y un gran deterioro hemodinámico al que le fue colocado un catéter de Swan–Ganz que permitió no solo corroborar el diagnóstico, sino que fue muy útil para el adecuado manejo de los líquidos y aminas presoras, lo que posibilitó la estabilización del paciente para su posterior reparación quirúrgica.
