Rechazo agudo. Estudio de un quinquenio

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo de corte transversal y comportamiento del rechazo agudo en 69 pacientes trasplantados con injerto renal funcionante, en el servicio de Nefrología en el Hospital Provincial Docente Manuel Ascunce Domenech, se practicaron 84 biopsias renales entre el 1ro de enero de 1998 y el 31 de diciembre de 2002. Las biopsias renales se describieron histológicamente mediante la calificación de BANFF (1993-1995). La incidencia del rechazo es de 66, 7 %. Los principales diagnósticos histológicos que acompañaron al rechazo agudo fueron la necrosis tubular aguda en el primer mes y la nefropatía crónica del injerto después de los seis meses del postrasplante. La variedad histológica más frecuente fue el rechazo agudo grado I (ligero) y la mayor severidad histológica se acompañó de una menor recuperación de la función renal.
