Bacteriemia oculta en el niño
Abstract
Estudios clínicos avanzados proponen y prueban múltiples terapéuticas inmunológicas y no inmunológicas dirigidas a interferir citoquinas proinflamatorias y de esta forma modular y disminuir la respuesta inflamatoria del huésped frente a los insultos de origen infeccioso. Sin embargo, estos estudios altamente costosos, olvidan la intervención temprana que puede hacer el médico sobre la primera fase del síndrome de respuesta inflamatoria sistémica y el diagnóstico de los niños con riesgo de bacteriemia oculta. Se revisó información actualizada sobre este novedoso y polémico tema, para recopilar la mayor cantidad de experiencias en expertos del tema y mejorar la calidad de la atención a nuestros enfermos.Downloads
