Degeneración neoplásica de una úlcera venosa: presentación de un caso
Abstract
RESUMENFundamento: se presenta un caso de un paciente de setenta y tres años con antecedente de hipertensión arterial y una úlcera venosa de 18 años de evolución que sufrió degeneración neoplásica. Se destaca la poca frecuencia de esta asociación, enfatizando que debe tenerse presente ante úlceras de evolución tórpida, de aspecto hipertrófico y que sangran con frecuencia y facilidad. Al mismo tiempo se señala la frecuencia, características y conducta que se debe tener presente, siendo el estudio histopatológico el fundamental.
