Intervención educativa sobre el conocimiento de factores de riesgo del embarazo en la adolescencia

Abstract

Fundamento: son múltiples los riesgos médicos asociados con el embarazo en las madres adolescentes, de allí la importancia de realizar acciones para disminuir los mismos.
Objetivo: incrementar el conocimiento sobre los factores de riesgo en las gestantes adolescentes de Camalote.
Método: se realizó un estudio de intervención educativa en Camalote, Guáimaro, desde el año 2007 hasta el 2008. Se constituyó el universo y la por sesenta y ocho adolescentes gestantes. Se aplicó un cuestionario antes y después del programa educativo con las variables: conducta sexual, inicio de las relaciones sexuales, edad del primer parto. Los datos obtenidos se procesaron por métodos autorizados mediante paquetes estadísticos Microstat y los resultados expresados en tablas.
Resultados: el 79,41% pertenecieron al grupo de quince a diecisiete años. Con la aplicación de intervención se logró incrementar el conocimiento en todos los factores de riesgo estudiados.
Conclusiones: se demostró la utilidad del estudio realizado a través del incremento del conocimiento.
