Condrosarcoma secundario: presentación de un caso
Abstract
RESUMENFundamento: el condrosarcoma constituye un tumor óseo maligno de bajo grado, generalmente localizado en el esqueleto axial; por su parte el condrosarcoma secundario no es frecuente y su localización es típica en el esqueleto apendicular.
Caso clínico: se presenta un paciente de 29 años de edad blanco, masculino con tumoración de crecimiento lento en la cadera derecha, ingresó en el Hospital Provincial Universitario Manuel Ascunce Domenech para ser intervenido quirúrgicamente, se realizó resección de la masa tumoral.
Conclusiones: la presencia de condrosarcoma secundario es infrecuente, sin embargo, dentro de esta baja frecuencia el osteocondroma es la lesión pre-existente que más se transforma en degeneración sarcomatosa.
