Micobacterias no tuberculosas en Camagüey

Abstract

Se aportan 10 observaciones de micobacteriosis pulmonar no tuberculosas en el período comprendido entre octubre de 2001 a octubre de 2006 en los hospitales universitarios de la ciudad de Camagüey-Cuba. Se señalan la clasificación, causas y características de esta enfermedad pulmonar en previsible incremento, la cual requiere medios diagnósticos especiales con el fin de realizar la tipificación en busca del microorganismo específico para una terapéutica correcta. Se señalan los rasgos clínicos de nuestros enfermos, indicando que en todos los casos existían lesiones preexistentes, las cuales fueron los causales de la muerte, lo que coincidió con el Grupo III. Se hace una breve revisión del tema y se comparan nuestros resultados con los de otros investigadores.
