Gota tofácea y lesiones cutáneas: presentación de un caso

Abstract

RESUMEN

Introducción: la hiperuricemia es un trastorno que aumenta considerablemente con la elevación del nivel de vida y la sobrealimentación.
Objetivo: presentar un caso inusual de gota tofácea con lesiones cutáneas que ocurren en un caso típico en gota con las asociaciones clínicas de esta enfermedad.
Caso clínico: paciente masculino de 57 años con antecedente de salud. El paciente sufre de gota desde su juventud, presenta gota tofácea evolutivamente, se trata con las drogas específicas durante muchos años y después con corticoides parenterales, desarrolló lesiones dermatológicas polimorfas lo cual es muy raro en estos enfermos, puede ocurrir en aquellos pacientes que se le aplica terapéutica esteroidea durante largo tiempo. El paciente desarrolló una insuficiencia renal con severa hipertensión y como resultado un hematoma intraparenquimatoso, falleció en la sala de terapia del Hospital Universitario Manuel Ascunce Domenech, no pudo realizarse estudios necrósicos por oposición familiar. Se debe tener presente que esta enfermedad aumenta considerablemente en el mundo con el mejoramiento del nivel de vida y de los factores relacionados con los mismos.
